Develop your own unique AGC corporate training programs, based upon your own personal skills and experience and then promote your programs through the AGC Global Client Network (GKN), under our shared corporate brand. - Entrepreneurs
(CLP) provides the opportunity for successful Business Consultants, Executive Officers and Training & Development Managers to take the next natural step up into becoming a Learning Entrepreneur by productizing their core skills, experience, interests and methodologies into a tangible corporate training program. - Projected Income
Learning Providers could earn up to USD$300k annually while training as a (CLP) and while developing their (UPP). - Tuition Fees & Charges
The Certified Learning Provider (CLP) program costs USD$8k. Your first payment of USD$4k would be due for payment within 7 days of your application being approved, in order to reserve your position on the program. The remaining balance of USD$4k would then be due 30 days prior to your proposed start date. Positions can be booked up to 12 months in advance, subject of course to ongoing availability. AGC also charges a flat service fee of 10% on the value of all corporate training program orders that are processed through AGC. This particular service fee is deducted from client monthly payments and does not therefore need to be budgeted for. - Candidate Eligibility
In order to be eligible to apply, you must have achieved the following: an MBA or a business-related Masters Degree; at least 10 years consultancy, corporate training, or executive management experience; an annual income of USD$150k+. If you do not have the required educational qualifications, then at least 20 years experience would be required. You must also have a good idea for your Unique Program Proposition (UPP), which must be process-driven and you must be able to demonstrate a good level of understanding and interpretation in relation to the program information provided during your telephone interview. - Growth potential
Once established, Learning Providers can then expand their corporate training practices, either by re-developing established programs for new markets, industries and locations, or by developing new programs for the markets, industries and locations where they are already established. - Business development
Clients and a sustainable corporate training business are achieved through the Certified Learning Provider’s professional association with Appleton Greene. No business development activity is required by Learning Providers. - Work From Home
Once your corporate training program has been developed and approved and you have qualified as a (CLP), you can advertise your program internationally through Appleton Greene. Monthly workshops can be outsourced to and implemented by AGC Accredited Consultants on the ground. AGC has consultants within most major cities worldwide. You can then facilitate the implementation of your program remotely from your own home or office, without having to travel, leaving you more time to develop new programs. Learning Providers study and work online, so there is no need for you to relocate. - Time management
It only takes approximately 294 hours, or 49 days to become a qualified Certified Learning Provider (CLP) who is developing a 1 year corporate training program, or 1,158 hours, or 193 days, to develop a 4 year corporate training program. - Program Examples

The Certified Learning Provider (CLP) program only costs USD$8k and Learning Providers develop and implement corporate training programs which incorporate Unique Program Propositions (UPP) that are based upon a Learning Provider’s own skills, experience, interests and methodologies. Appleton Greene is therefore looking to identify individuals who have the knowledge, the vision, the ambition, the confidence, the integrity and the commitment required in order to succeed. If you feel that you have an idea for one or more corporate training programs that are worth developing, then Appleton Greene can help you to develop them and to establish them within specific markets, industry sectors and geographical locations.
Business Opportunity
This is not an employment opportunity. It is a business opportunity specifically designed for independent entrepreneurs who see themselves primarily as a corporate trainer, mentor, or consultant. It represents a unique opportunity for a select number of people-orientated candidates to become an Appleton Greene Certified Learning Provider (CLP) and to develop their own unique corporate training programs, based upon their own personal skills and experience. Clients and a sustainable corporate training business are achieved through the Certified Learning Provider’s professional association with Appleton Greene. Establishing a portfolio of clients is an integral part of the program, as such an individual cannot qualify as a Certified Learning Provider (CLP) unless a portfolio of 10 clients has been established with 1 Unique Program proposition (UPP), each committing to a fixed 1-4 year contractual agreement. There is no need to resign from your current employer or clients. It only takes between 294 and 1,158 hours to become a qualified Certified Learning Provider (CLP). Why clients prefer to purchase products rather than time
The reality is that nobody likes buying time. Whether we are employing the services of professional consultants, accountants, lawyers, financial or tax experts, it is always difficult to understand what we are actually being asked to buy and how the service will actually work in practice. In all cases we are required to take an enormous leap of faith in the professional that we have chosen and such decisions are usually based upon recommendation, reputation, or simply necessity. In most cases we are disappointed afterwards because our perception of the service value is always too high. In the case of project-related consulting services, clients and employers are simply outsourcing to these consultants in much the same way as they would an internal employee. So, while many individuals opt for a career in consulting, because they perceive they will be in more control over their own destiny and be able to enjoy a healthier work-life balance, the reality is that they simply end up working as external employees. Ultimately if we charge for our time, then what we can earn will always be limited by the time that we have available and the standard rates per hour charged by our competitors with similar skills and experience.

Hence, the decision-making process for clients is much easier and we do not have to waste time attending free consultation meetings, putting lengthy proposals together, trying to explain our services in such a way that clients and employers will understand them and then trying to convince them to buy. Clients need to be able to see and understand precisely what they are being asked to buy and how the service works in practice. The more information that we can provide them with the better, it just makes the business development process so much easier.
Corporate training programs
At Appleton Greene, the products that we develop are corporate training programs. We try to provide clients and employers with a wide variety of standard and bespoke training programs and this is why we look to identify Learning Providers with strong Unique Program Propositions (UPP). In order to achieve this, we simply identify the core skills, experience, interests, passions and methodologies of each individual Learning Provider and then package these in such a way as clients and employers would recognize a strong (UPP). This (UPP) then needs to satisfy what they consider to be their Key Corporate Objectives (KCO). If we achieve this match then we have achieved another client.
Let us look at an example of this. If we identify a prospective candidate who has a strong interest in Marketing for example, it may be that upon further investigation, they are particularly good at either business, development, product development, channel management, corporate branding, new market entry, contact management, sales management, sales communications, image management, public relations, product branding, strategic alliance management, business partnering, emerging market entry, etc. All of these would be entirely different marketing programs as far as Appleton Greene is concerned and the more specific your program the better. Similarly, we can create similar lists of sub-programs for other departments, such as Customer Services, E-business, Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Operations, Management, Legal and Production. We also have corporate training programs that are multi-departmental.
Unique Program Propositions (UPP) – Why so specific?
It is quite astonishing how many consultants and employees fall into the trap of trying to be all things to all people. The more we can do, the more interest we will generate, or so the theory goes. The reality with this approach, is that what we are generating more of, is competitors and we are making it impossible for clients and employers to establish differentiation. Clients and employers always prefer specialists, because it is easier for them to establish precisely why the consultant, or learning provider, is right for them. The same is true with products, including corporate training programs.
In reality it is quite easy for us to establish differentiation, simply because as individuals, we are all different and unique. We all think in different ways, we all achieve things in different ways and we all have different strengths and weaknesses. We also have different interests, experience, skills and things that motivate us. To explore this theme further, we could typically have 100 different business development consultants, who would probably all achieve business in entirely different ways. This is good, because by identifying what the differentiation is in each case and then packaging it in such a way that would enable clients to recognize it as a tangible product, in the form of a corporate training program, simply enables clients and employers to quickly identify individual corporate training programs that would satisfy their Key Corporate Objectives (KCO). If this is done properly, then clients and employers are more than capable of making such decisions for themselves, even without meeting the individual learning provider concerned. This is because they will know whether an individual corporate training program is right for them, simply by perusing through the relevant Corporate Program Guide. They can then complete program orders by completing the relevant application forms directly accessible from the Corporate Program Guides.
Programs can then be made more specific by focusing upon individual industry sectors, such as Manufacturing, Financial Services, or Telecommunications and by focusing upon a specific geographical location, such as New York, Geneva, or London. The perception from clients is that the program in question has been designed specifically with their industry sector in mind, or within their geographical location. It does not matter what the Unique Program Propositions are, it just matters that they are clearly identified. If we then put effort into developing a detailed Corporate Program Guide, which provides potential clients and employers with as much detailed information as possible, then what we are ultimately achieving here is a very easy business development process, which could even be described as a self-service business development process, every consultant’s dream!
Everyone has the ability to achieve this if they put their mind to it. Indeed the technology industry is now full of millionaires and billionaires who are testament to this and have achieved their fortunes simply by productizing what they know or what they can do and by packing it in such a way as customers will recognize it as a value proposition that will satisfy their Key Corporate Objective (KCO) or their Key Personal Objective (KPO). Therefore anyone who recognizes that they have been successful with something, either in an employment or consultancy capacity, should have the ability to productize this success in such a way as clients or employers would recognize their skill as a tangible product. If you can do this, then what you can personally achieve will be limited only by your imagination.
Projected Income
How annual income projections are calculated
As an Executive Consultant or Executive Manager, you will be paid by the hour. As such what you can potentially earn, will always be limited by the time that you personally have available. Alternatively, by productizing your expertise and knowledge in the form of a corporate training program, you will effectively be releasing your true earning potential as an entrepreneur. This is simply because clients and employers will measure your value by using key performance indicators that relate to your corporate training program, rather than your time.
As such Certified Learning Providers (CLP) when qualified can then advertise their programs internationally through Appleton Greene, which means that any client, from anywhere in the world, can choose to purchase the Learning Provider’s corporate training program. We can use AGC Accredited Associate, Executive, or Senior Consultants on the ground to implement the monthly workshops locally, while the Learning Provider facilitates implementation of the programs remotely from their own home or office, by providing support and assistance to the Accredited Consultants. Learning providers can also elect whether to re-develop their corporate training program for new markets (industries and locations), or whether to develop a suite of related new corporate training programs for their portfolio.
(CLP) Retention
Appleton Greene is consistently trying to find new, innovative and cost-effective ways of promoting the Client Information Hubs (CIH) of individual Learning Providers. Once your Client Information Hub (CIH) has been approved and published, the objective then is to try to ensure that as many people get to see this as possible.
The AGC business model ensures that any charges levied for tuition fees or promotional services, merely cover the cost of providing these services for Learning Providers. For example, the Certified Learning Provider (CLP) tuition fee levied, merely covers the cost of training, development and support and the evaluation and assessment of Unique Program Propositions (UPP) and Client Information Hubs (CIH) and the publication and distribution of these (CIH)s to contacts within the AGC Global Client Network (GKN), over a sustainable period of time. This is undertaken in order to create awareness and to establish credibility for new Unique Program Propositions (UPP).
AGC then charges Learning Providers a 10% service fee on any and all program service orders that are processed directly via Learning Providers’ Client Information Hubs (CIH) and as such AGC starts earning money when its Learning Providers do.
Tuition Fees & Charges
The Certified Learning Provider (CLP) program only costs USD$8,000.00. This enables us to provide support and assistance in developing and implementing corporate training programs which incorporate clear Unique Program Propositions (UPP) that are based upon a Learning Provider’s own skills, experience, interests and methodologies. Appleton Greene is therefore looking to identify individuals who have the knowledge, the vision, the ambition, the confidence, the integrity and the commitment required in order to succeed. Appleton Greene also charges a service fee of 10% on the value of any and all corporate training program service orders, which are achieved through Appleton Greene.
Tuition fee payment terms
Positions are normally allocated on a quarterly basis during the months of January, April, July and October each year and are subject to ongoing availability. The tuition fee for the Certified Learning Provider (CLP) program is USD$8k, of which 50% i.e. USD$4k would be payable at the time of enrollment in order to reserve your position on the program. The remaining balance of your tuition fee i.e. USD$4k, would then be due for payment 30 days prior to your proposed start date. Positions can be booked up to 12 months in advance, subject of course to ongoing availability and this enables (CLP) students to plan around any other time or financial commitments that they may have. Appleton Greene is an equal opportunities learning and service provider and as such we are understandably bound to treat all candidates equally. We cannot therefore broker special financial or service terms and conditions with individual students regardless of the circumstances.
Business introductions or referrals
There may also be a 10% introduction or referral fee payable to other learning providers or consultants, who may have been personally responsible for introducing a corporate program service order to you. You will also be eligible to earn a 10% introduction or referral fee yourself where you have personally introduced business to other learning providers and consultants. Learning Providers are also encouraged to engage the services of Accredited Associate Consultants (AAC), Accredited Executive Consultants (AEC) and Accredited Senior Consultants (ASC), where their specific service skills, industry sector knowledge, or geographical location experience is required. Accredited Consultants are engaged through the Bronze Client Service, the Silver Client Service, the Gold Client Service and the Platinum Client Service. It is in the interests of Learning Providers to engage the services of as many Accredited Consultants as possible with their clients, because it enables them to provide their clients with a much more professional service experience and engaging the services of Accredited Consultants as guest speakers, support specialists and business specialists, only serves to impress upon clients the depth of services and resources available to them.

Bronze Client Service
With a portfolio of 10 clients with 1 Unique Program Proposition (UPP) – engaging the services of say 5 Accredited Consultants per month with each client at $1k, would generate $50k monthly or $600k annually, 10% of which amounts to $60k annually for the Learning Provider.
Silver Client Service
With a portfolio of 10 clients with 1 Unique Program Proposition (UPP) – engaging the services of 5 Accredited Consultants per month with each client at $2k, would generate $100k monthly or $1.2m</bB annually, 10% of which amounts to $120k annually for the Learning Provider.
Gold Client Service
With a portfolio of 10 clients with 1 Unique Program Proposition (UPP) – engaging the services of 5 Accredited Consultants per month with each client at $3k, would generate $150k monthly or $1.8m annually, 10% of which amounts to $180k annually for the Learning Provider.
Platinum Client Service
With a portfolio of 10 clients with 1 Unique Program Proposition (UPP) – engaging the services of 5 Accredited Consultants per month with each client at $4k, would generate $200k monthly or $2.4m annually, 10% of which amounts to $240k annually for the Learning Provider.

Learning Providers can also develop additional programs once they are established. They can either elect to re-develop current programs for new markets, industry sectors, or geographical locations, or alternatively they can elect to develop new programs for the same markets, industry sectors, or geographical locations where they are already established. So, for example, a Learning Provider who has developed and established a Product Brand Management corporate program within the Consumer Goods industry sector, servicing clients in New York NY and Los Angeles CA, could re-develop the same service for up to 9 other industry sectors, such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Telecommunications, Technology, Aviation, Tourism, FMCG and Healthcare. They could also elect to re-develop the same service for up to 9 other markets or geographical locations, such as London UK, Geneva CH, Paris FR, Berlin DE, Madrid ES, Amsterdam NL, Tokyo JP, Hong Kong CH, Delhi IN, or Johannesburg SA. Alternatively they could elect to retain their focus upon their established markets, namely the Consumer Goods industry sector within New York NY and Los Angeles CA and then develop some new corporate training programs, which would still be related to their individual Learning Provider brand, such as Corporate Branding, Global Branding, Brand Re-positioning, Brand Research, Emerging Market Branding, Business Brand Partnering, Brand Value Analysis, Brand Merger & Acquisition and Brand Communications. All of these can be considered entirely different services and would enable clients to identify the precise service that would be right for them. Appleton Greene Business Development Process
Unique Program Proposition (UPP) Client Information Hub (CIH)
The first task is to develop a Client Information Hub (CIH) for your Unique Program Proposition (UPP). This provides potential clients with a detailed understanding about what your corporate training program is about, how it works and how they would benefit from implementing it, incorporating a detailed curriculum. The purpose of the Client Information Hub (CIH) is to provide potential clients with much more information about the proposed corporate training program that you aim to provide, including an executive summary, program objectives, methodology, industry sectors, location countries, clients or employers, program benefits and program curriculum. The Client Information Hub (CIH) is then linked to a Program Service Order (PSO) form, which potential clients can then use to place program service orders directly with you. Please note that the Program Service Order (PSO) application forms are for client use only and are forwarded directly onto Appleton Greene and are verified for authenticity. Appleton Greene has Professional Editors within the Certified Learning Provider (CLP) department who will assist you and they will also evaluate and assess your Unique Program Proposition (UPP) Client Information Hub (CIH) for you, in order to ensure that it meets with the required standard at Appleton Greene.
Program Training Workshop (PTW) One
The next task is to develop your first Program Training Workshop (PTW) for month one. Corporate Training Programs at Appleton Greene are all process driven and are therefore implemented over a sustainable period of time, usually between 1-4 years. This may seem like a long time, but programs only incorporate between 12-48 monthly Program Training Workshops (PTW), which all take you no longer than 1 day per month to implement, or 6 hours to be precise. This means that you will eventually need to develop 12 x 6 hour workshops for a 1 year corporate training program, or 48 x 6 hour workshops for a 4 year corporate training program. This ensures that your clients have plenty of time in which to implement each part of your business process, before moving onto the next workshop. Clients and their employees are always busy and it is therefore important for you to ensure that you do not take them away from their business activities for more time than is necessary and this ensures that clients are implementing business processes at their own pace. Short-term intensive programs are only really suitable for induction purposes, knowledge transfer, or motivation. Corporate training programs that are process-driven need to be undertaken over a sustainable period of time, in order to ensure that business processes are properly implemented. This also ensures that the Certified Learning Provider (CLP) can manage much larger portfolios of clients, thus improving the sustainability of their corporate training practice, while at the same time reducing risk.
The good news is that you only need to develop your first Program Training Workshop (PTW), for month one, before engaging clients. This means that you can determine whether there is a market for your Unique Program Proposition (UPP) and start to develop and establish a portfolio of clients, before you have to develop the rest of the program. It only usually takes approximately 1 day to develop your Unique Program Proposition (UPP) Client Information Hub (CIH) and another 4 days to develop your first Program Training Workshop (PTW) for month one, so both of these tasks can usually be completed within the first month of being a Certified Learning Provider (CLP). This means that you could effectively start to receive Program Service Orders (PSO) from month two. Even if you are in full-time employment, you could still complete these tasks simply by allocating one day per week over the weekend. Having said this, there are no deadlines for the completion of your Unique Program Proposition (UPP) Client Information Hub (CIH) and there are no deadlines for the completion of your first Program Training Workshop (PTW) either, so you can plan these tasks comfortably around any short-term commitments that you may have. There is plenty of flexibility. In this instance, you would just need to accept that it may take you a little longer to become established.
Learning Provider Promotions
Once your Unique Program Proposition (UPP) Client Information Hub (CIH) and your first monthly Program Training Workshop (PTW) have both been developed and approved by Appleton Greene, (usually within the first month) then Appleton Greene publishes and distributes this information via email to Certified Learning Providers and contacts within the Appleton Greene global client network, gradually and over a sustainable period of time, throughout your designated training period. This enables you to create awareness and to establish credibility with learning providers and potential clients.
Client Program Service Orders (PSO)
Your Client Information Hub (CIG) also incorporates links to a Program Service Order (PSO) form, enabling clients to place program service orders directly with you, after having reviewed the Unique Program Proposition (UPP) that you propose to provide. This enables Certified Learning Providers (CLP) to start taking service orders, earning an income and obtaining client feedback from approximately the 2nd month on-wards. It also enables them to establish a client base before developing the rest of their program and enables them to obtain client feedback throughout the program development process, in order to ensure that their Key Program Objectives (KPO) satisfy the Key Corporate Objectives (KCO) of their clients. Each individual client pays Appleton Greene USD$2,500.00 per month, or USD$30,000.00 per year for one corporate training program and signs a 1-4 year contractual agreement, depending upon the duration of each individual Certified Learning Provider’s corporate training program.
Time Management
It only takes 1 day per month to implement the monthly workshops for 1 client, or 10 days per month for 10 clients and this therefore leaves plenty of time for the Certified Learning Provider (CLP) to develop all of their other Program Training Workshops (PTW). Given the fact that it only takes approximately 4 days to develop each individual Program Training Workshop (PTW), the Certified Learning Provider (CLP) can plan to develop 1 workshop each month and still have 5 days spare for providing online support to their clients, even with a portfolio of 10 clients. However, we would not recommend that Learning Providers manage any more than 10 clients until such a time as their program has been completely developed.
Learning Providers may also elect to resign from their other employment positions at this time, when they have developed an established client base with Appleton Greene, without incurring any unnecessary risk. Alternatively, some Learning Providers elect to limit their (CLP) clients to a smaller number until such a time as they have completely developed their program, which then enables them to continue servicing any external clients or employers that they may have. Learning Providers are ultimately responsible for managing their own time and Appleton Greene imposes no restrictions upon any external activities that Learning Providers choose to undertake. Indeed many Learning Providers also register as an Accredited Associate, Executive, or Senior Consultant at Appleton Greene, if they would like to earn income as a consultant in the short-term, until such a time as their Learning Provider corporate training practice is established.

Cost & Payment Terms
The Client Prospecting Service (CPS) costs $5,000.00 for one campaign, Each campaign incorporates 1,000 prospects, resulting in between 15-30 leads and approximately 12 appointments. Google is the undisputed No.1 internet search engine, indeed an estimated 80% of online searches are undertaken through Google and it is therefore no surprise to see that 80% of new business, that is developed online, is therefore derived through their Google AdWords service. The Google AdWords service is also available to Certified Learning Providers (CLP), once their Client Information Hub (CIH) and 1st Workshop Development Process (WDP1) have both been approved and published by Appleton Greene. As with all Appleton Greene services, the Google AdWords service is entirely optional, but if used properly, the service will contribute at least 50% of a Certified Learning Provider’s (CLP) new business online and is directly targeted towards clients who are specifically looking for your Unique Program Proposition (UPP).
How It Works
The general idea is to make it easy for any potential clients who are actively looking for your Unique Program Proposition (UPP), to be able to find it. For example, if you typed “Appleton Greene & Co” into Google Search, followed by your “Program Title”, you will probably find that a link to your Client Information Hub (CIH) already appears on the first page of Google Search. This is because your Client Information Hub (CIH) is regularly submitted to search engines by Appleton Greene to ensure that it is visible online. However, if you were just to initiate a search on Google for your “Program Title” alone, then a link to your Client Information Hub (CIH) will probably not be visible. This is because of the quantity of competition online. You may however notice some links that are marked in bold or are marked “Ad” by Google, that are located either towards the top of the page, or separately on the right-hand side of the page. Google charges its AdWords customers on a Pay Per Click (PPC) basis. This means that customers are charged whenever someone clicks on their advert link. Google explains that customers only pay for results, that is to say, you only pay if someone clicks on your Advert. This does not of course guarantee that the person who clicks on your advert will do business with you, but it does at least guarantee that they have visited your Client Information Hub (CIH). So, Google AdWords is all about directing internet traffic to your Client Information Hub (CIH) and as with any marketing campaign, the more shots at goal that you have, the more goals likely to be scored. Google also explains that you can start with any budget: “You set your own budget, so your costs will depend on what you are trying to accomplish with your advertising. Some businesses spend thousands of dollars a month, and others are investing several million.” In fact the way that it works, is that your Google Ad will only remain visible until such a time as your budget has been reached, then it disappears. Also, if someone is bidding more for the same search words, then their Google Ads will be featured more prominently and more often. However, in our experience, a company or individual can achieve regular business, starting with a minimum budget of say $10k per month, and can then scale up their AdWords budget as a percentage of sales, to ensure that their campaigns are self-financing moving forwards. Google AdWords does work and it works well. However, as with any form of marketing, success will ultimately be achieved by implementing marketing campaigns over a sustainable period of time, usually 12 months, in order to establish a consistent program brand reputation with your customers.

Where Appleton Greene has already achieved success with Certified Learning Providers (CLP), is instead of creating a Google Ad that just provides a link to one corporate training program, it creates a separate web page, or splash page, which provides a list of approximately 12 participating interchanging corporate training programs. The cost of the Google Advert remains the same, because customers are still only being directed by a URL link to one web page, but that web page will incorporate a list of corporate training programs, including their program titles and links to their individual information hubs. Hence the cost of the advertising is shared by a participating group of Certified Learning Providers (CLP), who are then each only charged a one-off payment of $5,100.00 for a 3-month campaign, 17% of the recommended minimum quarterly cost. This means that they collectively have the mutual benefit of implementing a 3-month Google AdWords campaign, for just over 17% of the usual cost! All of the participating program titles are featured within the Google AdWords campaign, which means that if a potential customer searches for an individual program title, it would still be featured and of course these campaigns are all managed proactively.
This means that any potential client who is actively looking and searching for your Unique Program Proposition (UPP) via Google, at any time during this 3-month period, will have an opportunity to review your Client Information Hub (CIH). Success with any online marketing campaign is ultimately determined by directing as much internet traffic as possible, to what it is that you have to offer. Google AdWords campaigns certainly achieve this. Your Client Information Hub (CIH) provides potential clients with professional and detailed information about your corporate training program, the means to arrange a telephone conference with you and ultimately a direct link to a program order form, making it easy for potential clients to place program orders directly with you. The objective now is to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to see this.
Financial Accounts
Upon receipt of a Program Service Order (PSO) form, Appleton Greene verifies the program order for authenticity. The program order is then forwarded onto the appropriate Learning Provider for their consideration. It is the Learning Provider’s prerogative to decide whether to accept or decline the program order. Upon written acceptance, Appleton Greene then processes the order and informs the legal department, who are responsible for processing the contractual agreement for a minimum period of 12 months and the accounts department, who will then issue an invoice to the client. Invoices are payable monthly in advance of program provision by clients by international bank wire transfer and the Learning Provider is then paid by Appleton Greene, when payment has been received by the client, again by international bank wire transfer, after deducting the 10% service fee payable to Appleton Greene and the 10% introduction fee, which may be payable to an introducing learning provider or consultant. It is the individual Learning Provider’s responsibility to produce and manage their own independent financial accounts and to manage their own tax affairs, depending upon their own individual tax jurisdictions. The Certified Learning Provider (CLP) program provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to take a significant step up for those candidates who may have been consulting for some time and are ready to provide their clients with a more tangible service offering by productizing what they do. It also enables clients to measure value based upon the corporate training programs provided, rather than the time that it takes to implement them.
The Certified Learning Provider (CLP) program offers the only opportunity for consultants to move away from charging for their time and charging for a tangible product (a corporate training program) instead. This enables clients to achieve far more sustainable value and enables Learning Providers to manage much larger portfolios of clients. Once established, a Learning Provider’s corporate training programs can be implemented worldwide and they can elect to outsource the implementation of monthly workshops to local Appleton Greene Accredited Consultants on the ground, while still facilitating implementation from a distance.

Work From Home
Once your corporate training program has been developed and approved and you have qualified as a (CLP), you can advertise your program internationally through Appleton Greene. Monthly workshops can be outsourced to and implemented by AGC Accredited Consultants on the ground. AGC has consultants within most major cities worldwide. You can then facilitate the implementation of your program remotely from your own home or office, without having to travel, leaving you more time to develop new programs. Learning Providers study and work online, so there is no need for you to relocate.

AGC allocates 5 Accredited Professors, 10 Accredited Tutors, 5 Product Development Specialists, 5 Business Development Specialists and 1 Program Administration Manager for the (CLP) program, representing a student/staff support ratio of 2:1.
There are plenty of human resources available for the Appleton Greene Certified Learning Provider (CLP) program and we encourage you to communicate with them as much as possible. In all cases tutorial support is provided online because we can then keep a record of all communication to ensure that tutorial support remains consistent. The workshops that are normally undertaken with Appleton Greene programs are undertaken with live clients with the (CLP) program. In each case you will be facilitating at least one person within each corporate client partner company, so there is more than enough interaction while studying and these workshops are subsequently real and far more productive. You would also be forwarding your work to the tutorial support unit for evaluation and assessment. You will receive individual feedback on all of the work that you undertake on a one-to-one basis, together with specific recommendations for anything that may need to be changed in order to achieve a pass with merit or a pass with distinction and you then have as many opportunities as you may need to re-submit project studies until they meet with the required standard.
Quality Management
AGC evaluates and assesses the quality of all (CLP) corporate training programs on a regular basis. AGC also asks clients to complete detailed program questionnaires on a monthly basis for continuous improvement purposes. AGC writes to clients every 6 months for detailed program references, which are then published online.
Clients are often reluctant to provide constructive feedback directly to Learning Providers or Accredited Consultants, because a personal relationship has been established. While this is perfectly understandable, it is still important to understand precisely what clients and their employees consider the internal strengths and weaknesses of the program and the potential opportunities and threats may result. AGC therefore proactively gathers this information from succinct and time-effective monthly program performance questionnaires and this information is then forwarded onto the individual Learning Provider, for continuous improvement purposes.
It is also surprising how few Learning Providers and Accredited Consultants actually ask clients for written references or testimonials. If they do ask, clients can be reluctant to provide such references and testimonials, either for reasons appertaining to confidentiality, or they may just do not know what to say. AGC writes to clients directly every 6 months asking them to complete a very simple Testimonial Form, which only takes them approximately 10-15 minutes. It is structured in such a way that it provides us with valuable references or testimonials without taking too much of a client’s time. Their personal and company names are then removed in order to ensure confidentiality, in accordance with our privacy and security policy, before they are published online.
Time Management
During (CLP)
It only takes approximately 294 hours, or 49 days to become a qualified Certified Learning Provider (CLP) who is developing a 1 year corporate training program, or 1,158 hours, or 193 days, to develop a 4 year corporate training program.
Learning Providers can study from home or work at their own pace and are responsible for managing their own study plan. There are no formal examinations and Learning Providers are evaluated and assessed based upon their project study submissions, together with the quality of their corporate training program and supporting documents. They can contribute more time towards study, when they have the time to do so and can contribute less time when they are busy. All Learning Providers tend to be in full time employment while studying and the Certified Learning Provider (CLP) program is purposely designed to accommodate this, so there is plenty of flexibility in terms of time management. It makes no difference to us at Appleton Greene, whether individuals takes 1 year or 4 years in which to qualify as a Certified Learning Provider (CLP). What matters is that in all cases the same standard of quality will have been achieved with the standard and bespoke programs that have been developed.
It is ultimately the Learning Provider’s responsibility to manage their own time and their own study plan, but Appleton Greene will still evaluate and assess your rate of progress to ensure that consistent progress is being made. If it is not, then you can always apply for a Study Period Extension (SPE) and a proportionate tuition fee will be levied for the extension required.
After (CLP)
All (CLP) programs are implemented over a sustainable period of time, usually between 1 and 4 years, incorporating 12 to 48 monthly workshops, depending upon whether they are developing a 1 year or 5 year corporate training program and professional support is consistently provided during this time by qualified professors and tutors
After you have qualified as an Appleton Greene Certified Learning Provider (CLP), you can expect to allocate approximately 10 days per month facilitating client workshops, which can either be conducted on the client’s premises, a conveniently located serviced training or office facility, or online by using sophisticated interactive software. Over 70% of Appleton Greene corporate training programs are implemented entirely online now, so it does not really matter where you may be located. This is because in the majority of cases, a client’s employees will be located in a variety of different national and international locations and it therefore proves to be more time-effective, cost-effective and performance-effective by bringing national and international teams together online. It also means that Certified Learning Providers (CLP) can be based anywhere in the world, as long as they have reliable internet access. Learning Providers also need to allow approximately 5 days per month for providing client support via email or via Appleton Greene cloud servers. As explained earlier, it is up to individual Learning Providers to decide when to scale up and when to scale down their activities, depending upon their own personal time availability and income needs and this will effectively determine program availability. We are invariably always in a position where demand outstrips supply with Appleton Greene standard and bespoke programs and this subsequently helps to drive up program values, which enables Learning Providers to maximize their earning potential, in much the same way as with the real estate market for example.
Current commitments
At Appleton Greene we tend to be risk-averse by nature. The company has always been entirely self-financing and we always want to know that there is a market for what we are developing, before we develop it. We also want to retain our existing customer base, while developing new customers. This just amounts to sensible business economics and we would expect our independent Certified Learning Providers (CLP) to adopt the same approach with their own independent corporate training practices. We therefore understand and accept that our Learning Providers will need to continue earning an income while developing their new Appleton Greene corporate training programs. We therefore recommend that Learning Providers continue with any current employment that they may have, whether they are employed full-time by a company, whether they are independently servicing their own clients as a consultant, or whether they are registered Appleton Greene Associate Learning Providers. The Appleton Greene Certified Learning Provider (CLP) program is entirely flexible and is purposely designed to accommodate any current commitments that you may have. There is therefore no need for to resign from your current employer or clients. If you do feel that you need to create more time, then registering as an Associate Learning Provider (ALP) may prove to be a prudent and cost-effective move for you. This would enable you to earn a good income over a period of 2 days per week, which would provide you with more time for (CLP) study.
